1/3rd approx. fill the yogurt container with fresh, cold water and add the full contents of a sachet of Truly yogurt base, put the lid on shake until the powder has dissolved. Remove the lid and fill to near the top with cold water.

Pour boiling water from the kettle into the yogurt maker and fill up to the top of the blue baffle. Immerse the jar in the maker with the boiling water. Place the lid on the maker and leave until set (minimum 6-9 hours) Leaving in the yogurt maker for up to 24 hours will not spoil the yogurt.. Remove the container from the maker and leave in the refrigerator until cold. Perfect fresh, live yogurt every single time.

The yogurt will keep for up to 2 weeks in a refrigerator, however, because the Truly yogurt system creates LIVE yogurt, it is best eaten within 5-7 days. We know that yogurt has been around for centuries. There is strong evidence that it is featured in the Bible for instance, and it was almost certainly 'discovered' by accident through the practice of carrying milk in a pouch made from the stomach of a sheep.
