Over four fifths of people are planning to increase their exercise regime in the new year, a new survey has found.
However, the research by a supplement manufacturer suggests that many people simply don't have enough energy to fulfil their resolutions, as 59 per cent of respondents claimed to feel drained at least once a day.
Sixty per cent said that they struggle to get out of bed in the morning and one in five admitted to feeling tired all of the time.
However, experts are confident that a dietary supplement such as Coenzyme Q10 could help to combat tiredness and give people the extra boost they need to keep up their resolutions.
Rita Stoffaneller commented: "Getting enough sleep and exercise is vital to ensuring we function at our best, while making sure our diet is rich in essential vitamins and minerals is also important.
"Busy lifestyles mean we are more likely to be deficient in certain nutrients such as Coenzyme Q10 even though the supply of food is plentiful."
