Pain Gone is a small handy device which targets pain wherever its needed by delivering a controlled electronic frequency wherever it is placed on the body. This stimulating frequency brings great pain relief to the user.
As can be seen, the device looks very much like a 'chunky' pen however its design is such that it fits comfortably in either hand and is very simple to operate.
All that is required is to hold the pen in the hand, ensuring that part of the hand touches the metal ring close to the top of the pen, place the 'point' of the pen on the appropriate site and then simply press the plunger with the thumb. Each press delivers a small electric pulse which is virtually undetectable i.e. you might feel a slight tingle around the area where the pen is located.
An excellent users guide is supplied which goes into great detail as to where to apply the pen and how many 'shocks' to apply each time.
It works through light clothing just as well as when in direct contact with the skin and so can be used throughout the day.
Although the manufacturer claims that the process is completely natural having no side-effects and that it does not interfere with any other prescribed medication there are some restrictions upon its use - to quote the instruction book:
For external use only
Do not use Pain®Gone: If you use a pacemaker If you are in your first 16 weeks of pregnancy In and around your eyes Directly over metal implants On wet skin or in damp surroundings Close to oxygen or inflammable liquids If you suffer from epilepsy On open wounds.
And, as one might expect there is also the standard instruction to consult your doctor if you are concerned about the applicability of the product in relation to your own condition or if you are already taking medication such as steroids/warfarine etc.
