Following this week’s news coverage on the safety of antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamins A, E and beta carotene, we want to reassure all our customers that they need not worry.
Should I stop taking my vitamins?
There is no need to stop taking supplements; if you are healthy you can still feel confident that you can safely take your vitamin supplements. There are numerous other studies which have shown that taking antioxidant supplements can play a role in reducing the risk of disease.
Where has the information in this week’s news come from?
The news has come from an analysis by the Cochrane review library. The study looked at vitamins A, C, E, beta-carotene and selenium. In the review vitamin C and selenium were found to have absolutely no detrimental effect.
What about vitamin A, E & Beta Carotene and links to premature death?
The study looked at “all-cause mortality”, and not deaths caused specifically from taking supplements A, E and beta-carotene. “All cause mortality” means that all deaths that occurred would have been taken in to account within the study, this would include fatal accidents, and there is nothing to suggest that this was a direct cause of taking the supplement.
There are numerous studies that have found the opposite, which means that there is nothing to suggest that premature death was a direct cause of taking the supplement.
I am taking supplements for a specific need or problem I have. Should I stop taking these supplements?
The review does not look at supplements for treatment of specific diseases or problems and there is no reason for you to stop taking your supplements. Before starting any treatment for a condition, you should always consult your GP.

1. How long will it take for my order to reach me?
In normal circumstances it will take approximately 3 - 7 working days for delivery within UK. Overseas delivery may take upto 4 weeks.
2. Can I take your supplements with my medication?
We recommend that you consult our Health Advisor on our Free Phone helpline 0800 074 7404, or your G.P. for all medication related queries.
3. What if the product doesn't work for me?
All our products are backed by a 30 day no quibble policy. If you are not satisfied with the products or see no change you may call us within that period.
4. Can I increase the dosage?
We recommend that you take the supplements as per the recommended dosage. However, you may consult our Product and Dosage expert on our Free Phone helpline 0800 074 7404, about the appropriate dosage to suit your specific condition and body type.
5. Can I pay by Cash On Delivery?
No, but we have payment options like Credit cards, Debit cards, Cheques and British Postal Orders. When payment is made by cheque or postal order, we will release the order only once we have received the cheque or postal order.

All the products offered for sale on our web site are popular lines, which are almost always in stock. In the extremely unlikely event that we accept your order and then subsequently discover we cannot fulfil it, we will contact you straight away.

Yes. We do ship overseas but delivery times will vary according to the conditions imposed by the local postal service and customs in your country, and you should allow up to 28 days for delivery.
16. What are your post & packing costs?
If you order through our website, our normal charge for p&p for orders shipped to the UK is £2.95, but we regularly offer free p&p in our promotions.
If you order by telephone or post our normal charges are as follows:
- For orders shipped to destinations within the UK we charge £2.95 p&p.
- For orders shipped to destinations outside the UK we charge £6.95 p&p.

Despite all our best endeavours there will be occasions when deliveries are late. If you are worried, or if the order is urgent, you can contact us by phone, fax or email. Any such enquiry will be immediately investigated and we will let you know what is going on, why your product is late, and what we intend to do to put matters right.

We can certainly amend the order for you providing you inform us about it prior to its dispatch from our warehouse. If the alteration does not require your card number you could e-mail us the details as soon as possible.
