latest international research studies look promising for all of us with joint
pain issues. The studies show that Celadrin®, a natural fatty acid, out-performs

Lubricate
your joints When we look closely at the research,
it informs us that Celadrin® literally acts as a lubricant to the body’s
cell membranes, making the cells more fluid and elastic – rather like using

allowing easier and often pain-free movement. A

How does it work? Arthritic
inflammation can occur for several reasons (including age, diet, free radicals,

is one or more forms of arthritis (bursitis and tendonitis included); periodontal

the proof? Celadrin® is a medically and clinically
proven pain management compound developed through a chemical process of breaking
down oils. Along with studies and scientific presentations, Celadrin® has
been published in the internationally acclaimed Journal of Rheumatology. For
oral application (capsules), Celadrin® was studied using a doubleblind, multi-centre,
placebo-controlled trial (the most scientifically validated type). Sixty-four
participants between the ages of 37 to 77 were given Celadrin® capsules and
were evaluated at the beginning of the trial, at 30 days, and at the end of the
68 day study. Compared to those given a placebo, those who were given Celadrin®
had more flexibility, fewer aches, less pain and were able to walk further distances
than the placebo group. The
study therefore concluded that when taken orally, Celadrin® improved joint
and mobility problems. Is
it Safe to Take? The trial also showed that oral
Celadrin® showed significant benefit beyond the arthritic medication the subjects
were taking – with cumulative improvement shown throughout the study. Significance
was demonstrated in every test. Celadrin® has been shown to be very safe and
efficacious as evidenced by the double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical &
scientific studies.
Celadrin® is compliant with the Food and Drug Administration and non prescriptive.
There are no reported negative side effects – over 100 million Celadrin®
pills have been distributed to date. Celadrin®
is a very safe mix of fatty acids with no known or reported negative reactions
or side effects. The esterification process (breaking down of oils) takes place
at extremely high temperatures (over 500 degrees Fahrenheit). Scientific Acute

the alternative? On the opposite end of this
scale, in the US more than 16,500 people die each year as a result of nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory drug-related bleeding of the digestive system. Scientists now
know the reason that this damage occurs. Our bodies produce an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-2
or COX-2, which triggers the release of prostaglandins – it is these that
cause the pain. The NSAID’s work by inhibiting COX-2, stopping inflammation
and eventually relieving pain. Unfortunately they also inhibit the production
of a similar enzyme called COX-1. If COX-1 is inhibited so too is the body’s
ability to repair and maintain the lining of the stomach leading to gastric ulceration,
perforation, obstruction or bleeding.
Aspirin and the other Non-Steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are an effective treatment
for the relief of pain, but with one major problem; they can have very serious
side effects. The way in which they work so effectively for pain, explained shortly,
is also their downfall. They can, and do, cause damage to the lining of the stomach
in one third to almost one half of the people that take them. Twenty percent of
people who take NSAID’s for any period of time will develop an ulcer. The
further possibility of digestive problems and an increased risk of heart attacks
suggest that these drugs could have a dramatic impact on many people’s lives. Can
we Rely on Nature? As is usually the case, nature
has provided us with an alternative to harsh pharmaceutical medications. There
are several key herbs that have been used for pain relief for thousands of years.
The knowledge of how and when to use them has been acquired through generations
of usage. It is only in the last few years that science has caught up and found
the reason as to why they work against pain. The reason is of course through the
inhibition of COX-2. What
can I compare Celadrin with? Celadrin® works
in a similar way to, but more quickly than, the essential fatty acids EPA and
DHA from fish oils. Celadrin’s complex blend of esterified fatty acids provide
